Dalam simulasi pilpres yang dibuat oleh PWS, pasangan bakal calon presiden Prabowo Subianto dan Gibran memperoleh mayoritas suara sebanyak 41,2 persen suara dari 1.200 responden.
Diikuti oleh pasangan potensial lainnya Ganjar Pranowo-Sandiaga Uno 35,6 persen, kemudian Anies Baswedan dan Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) 21,5 persen.
Peneliti Utama PWS Sharazani saat memaparkan hasil survei di Jakarta, Jumat, menyebut nama Gibran masuk dalam daftar tiga teratas untuk tokoh-tokoh yang dinilai potensial maju sebagai cawapres.

“Yang fenomenal dalam bursa cawapres adalah munculnya nama Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Wali Kota Surakarta ini disebut secara spontan oleh 13,4 persen responden alias masuk tiga besar bersama Ridwan Kamil dan Erick Thohir,” kata Sharazani.

“Sebanyak 18,6 persen responden menyebut Gibran adalah sosok paling tepat untuk mendampingi Prabowo.”
“Gibran bersaing ketat dengan Erick Thohir yang dipilih oleh 18,1 persen responden,” kata Sharazani.
Dalam simulasi pilpres, mayoritas responden juga masih memilih pasangan Prabowo dan Erick Thohir, mengingat perolehan suara mereka 40,8 persen, diikuti dengan Ganjar-Sandiaga 36,4 persen, dan Anies-AHY 21,5 persen.
Selanjutnya PWS membuat simulasi pilpres putaran kedua yang diikuti oleh pasangan Prabowo-Gibran dan Ganjar-Sandiaga.
Pasangan Prabowo-Gibran tetap mengalahkan Ganjar-Sandiaga.
Pasangan Prabowo-Gibran dipilih oleh 52,9 persen responden, sedangkan Ganjar-Sandiaga 43,5 persen.
“Dalam format simulasi dua pasangan ini gap elektabilitas Prabowo-Gibran makin menjauh dari pasangan Ganjar-Sandiaga.”
“Ini bisa dimaklumi karena pendukung Anies-AHY cenderung mengarahkan pilihannya pada pasangan Prabowo-Gibran,” kata Peneliti Utama PWS.
Terlepas dari hasil survei itu, kata dia, sejauh ini masing-masing bakal calon presiden belum mengumumkan pasangan mereka.
Meskipun nama Gibran dinilai potensial meraup mayoritas suara, menurut survei PWS, itu masih cukup sulit karena Gibran merupakan kader PDI Perjuangan, partai yang mengusung Ganjar Pranowo sebagai bakal calon presiden mereka.
Sementara itu, Prabowo Subianto sejauh ini diusung oleh partainya, Gerindra, bersama PKB, kemudian bergabung PAN dan Golkar.
Anies Baswedan, bakal calon presiden lainnya, saat ini didukung oleh NasDem, PKS, dan Partai Demokrat.
Hasil survei PWS terkait dengan elektabilitas bakal calon wakil presiden itu diperoleh dari hasil wawancara terhadap 1.200 responden di 34 provinsi Indonesia pada tanggal 13–20 Agustus 2023.
PWS menyampaikan margin of error hasil survei itu kurang lebih 2,83 persen dengan tingkat kepercayaannya 95 persen.***
